Walking out onto St. Kilda's Pier in Melbourne, you can turn around and look up first at the
monument of Capt. Cook (difficult to see in this picture), and then further up to the St. Kilda market
with all the stands and vendors.
There is a whole stretch of beach that runs right into Melbourne with sidewalks for walkers, runners, cyclists, etc.
