Australia 2000
Welcome to our Australia site! We came over to Australia in October 1999 for Annabelle's contract
and have finally compiled some (not all) of our pictures and put them up for all to see!
Australia is such a beautiful country, and we tried to see it all but it is impossible even with
8 months! In fact, we've only really seen Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania. We
are currently living in Sydney, NSW (actually Parramatta) but will only be there until the end of June 2000.
We were in Sydney for the Millennium Fireworks celebration and it was indescribable! Neither pictures nor video
can do it justice. It was spectacular!
For each of the images, you can click on them to get a larger view (it might take a little while to download the picture).
The small images are compressed so that they load quickly, the larger images are much better quality.
I've updated the site to include our pictures from our trip to the Great Barrier Reef - what an awesome trip!
We were able to go scuba diving with Poseidon (a company in Port Douglas) and they did an excellent day of diving and snorkelling with great staff!
I hope you enjoy our pictures of QLD - if you ever get to this area of the world, DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE !
The Great Barrier Reef is over 2,000 kilometers of living coral and sealife - it is the only living thing visible from the moon (so I'm told) !

They were taken on my AGFA ePhoto 1680, most at 1240x768 resolution and then resized to 640x480 using AGFA PhotoWise software.
If the picture was scanned then I'll make a note of it!
